By Havenstatguys No doubt that the Harriton Rams are struggling this year but good teams go out and play well regardless of their opponent and they take each opponent seriously.  The Panthers did just that last week when they dominated the Rams winning 49-0.  It was the third shut-out in a row for Haven.  They… Read More

By Havenstatguys Haven had another strong night last Friday rushing the ball for 271 yards and averaging almost 7 yards per rushing attempt.  They held the Cougars to 210 yards, 68 in the air, but the strange statistic is that Springfield ran 63 plays to Haven’s 42 which says a lot about Haven’s defense.  Add… Read More

The 50 Yardline – Week 7 – Springfield

By Havenstatguys It sure wasn’t pretty between the penalties, muffed punts and fumbles and Haven had their own interceptions and sacks and defense managed to keep the Tigers out of the end zone even after possessing the ball for 10 minutes in the first quarter.  More importantly the boys in black and silver got the… Read More

The 50 Yardline – Marple Newtown – Week 6

By Havenstatguys Sometimes a team simply runs into another team that is just better. By Havenstatguys Haven faced there first evenly matched game last Friday and they passed with flying colors.  The 20-14 final score made it look a bit closer than it really was but it was definitely the closest game of the season for the Panthers to date. The Red Raiders had a very powerful and very… Read More

By Havenstatguys We went into last Friday night’s game wondering whether the Panthers had soundly beaten two teams and were developing into a dramatically improved team or had they just beaten two teams having a bad year.  Haven opened with two strong possessions including a 28 yard run followed by a 17 yard run and… Read More

The 50 Yardline – Ridley – Week 3

Posted on September 3, 2019 in Havenfootball.net.

By Havenstatguys When you play a team and only play offense for 3:26 minutes in the first half as opposed to your opponent’s 19:07 minutes you would expect the score to be very lopsided in favor of your opponents. Instead the Panthers managed to score 49 points in what has to be some kind of… Read More
