Strath Haven at Penncrest, 7

The Panthers (3-1) and Lions (1-3) meet in the 39th Media Bowl. It hasn’t been a fair fight, either. Haven has won 30 decisions against its rival and is the favorite once again this year.

Last week Strath Haven got a solid, all-around performance from its defense in a 27-7 win over Springfield. Jaris Adams ran for 127 yards and a touchdown and caught a six-yard scoring pass from Jack Ryder.

The Lions got in the win column with a 42-8 rout of Harriton. Nick Chelo completed 7 of 13 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a pair of scores in his first start at quarterback. Jimmy Cage made four catches for 114 yards after converting to wide receiver from the QB position. Deveyon Fitzgerald broke off a long touchdown run and returned a 52-yard punt return to the house.
