After a detailed presentation by Strath Haven Athletic Director, Pat Clancy, the board approved a Central League plan to play fall sports, including football, starting in the next few weeks. The only condition for the board was insistence that all players and coaches be masked at all times including during competition.

Practice will officially begin on September 29th with first competition planned for October 23rd.  The schedule will consist of 5 league games and with a final Central League Championship game for a total of six games.  Two scrimmages (as opposed to the usual one scrimmage) are proposed leading up to the beginning of the regular 5 games with the final CL Championship game is scheduled for November 27th.

As of right now the PIAA and PIAA District One post season play are still in limbo with board meetings with both organizations occurring over the next week. As of right now a team would have to play a minimum of five games to qualify for post season play with a deadline to qualify of October 31.  Without a change in the PIAA rules this schedule would not allow for any post season play.

While there is a great desire for post season play potential Mr. Clancy stated that the primary concern of all the Central League athletic directors was to ensure as complete an experience as possible within the league.
